Rochester Yacht Club members have volunteered to serve as Country Ambassadors – to communicate with competitors from each country, so that you will already have a friendly contact when you arrive in Rochester.

We ask that you fill out the “Competitor Profile” and email it to your ambassador. They will then be asking each competitor for your travel plans – so that we know who is arriving when. We will need to know how many people are traveling with your team. Where you are planning to stay, and how you are planning to travel back and forth to the venue.

Our Ambassadors are committed to helping the competitors as much as possible, so if you have a question, encounter a problem, or have special needs, please contact your country ambassador. If they don’t have an answer, they will attempt to get one for you.

We have compiled information in “Team Logistics” to assist competitors with their plans for accommodations in Rochester, vehicle rental and transportation to the venue, chartering of boats, unloading / loading of containers, and services like sail repair, boat engine service, marine hardware, laundry, food, etc…
